Description WW2 Casualty scroll – Royal Marines. 1939-45 Star; 1939-45 War Medal; Memorial Scroll, Marine L.A.M.Salter Royal Marines. (All housed in a frame) Lawson Alexander McGregor Salter was born in Southampton, Hampshire in October 1926. He died on the 28th January 1946 whilst serving on H.M.S. Glenroy and is commemorated at the Trincomalee War Cemetery Records record that he died of asphyxiation by drowning (accidental) at Trincomalee Harbour, Ceylon. Condition – GVF Because of some parts being framed we would prefer not to post this item, it can be collected from various medal fairs, such as Yate, Stratford, Britannia, the O.M.R.S. If you are willing to risk posting the frame , please contact us to obtain a postage cost, but it will be at your risk. Alternatively we can remove the items from their frame, in this case the quoted postage is correct.
