Description Northe #3 is an amazing Marbled purple stripe that has very large bulb potential for commercial growers in addition to home gardeners and especially CSA’s. Averages 5-6 chestnut colored cloves per bulb and 8 – 10 bulbs per pound that are easy to pop. A very nice hardy plant habit with deep strong roots that creates a large dense balanced bulb. As with most Marbleds, it is also great in the kitchen and maintains its garlicky flavor when cooked. Northe #3 came into commercial production via.
